Mill Valley Little League

ABOUT_
Mill Valley Little League started as a volunteer effort and today, more than 60 years later, we continue to rely on our volunteer force.  MVLL has more than 700 kids playing baseball and scores of volunteers that put in tireless hours to ensure MVLL’s success. MVLL continues to provide Mill Valley residents with a reason to congregate, as families gather to watch the great unspoiled pastime of our town.

The first season of MVLL was played at Boyle Park in 1954. With only two teams in Mill Valley (Yankees and Indians), play also included teams from Sausalito (Giants) and Tiburon (Braves).  Opening day was May 22nd and the season ran from May 25th to August 6th.  The Mill Valley Yankees closed the season by nosing out the Tiburon Braves 5-3 for the league championship.
