MVLL's Concessions program is a popular opportunity for youth age 13 (Grade 8) and up to gain valuable customer service experience in a fun and safety-conscious environment. No prior experience needed – we’ll train you to perform your duties as a Concessionaire safely and effectively.
We treat this like a real job – MVLL concessions staff are expected to present themselves in a professional manner, schedule and arrive for their shifts on time, adhere to all food and other safety protocols, and provide exceptional customer service to patrons purchasing food, beverages, and other items at any one of our three concessions operations (Suzie’s Place, Chris & Vin’s, and Alto).
There are signup and training opportunities prior to the Fall Ball (September through October) and Spring (March through June) seasons. Concessionaires must attend a scheduled training session prior to the season in order to participate in the program during the season. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate during All-Stars (through early July) for those who participated in either Spring or Fall. Concessionaires receive a stipend to cover their costs to participate in the program.
Training for work at Suzie's Place or Chris & Vin's is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st at 1 PM - 3 PM OR Saturday, March 8th at 10 AM - Noon. You need only attend one session for Boyle. Stay tuned for updates on our training dates for Alto.
