2025 MVLL Fall Registration

Fall Ball 2025

Welcome to MVLL Fall Ball!

Fall Ball is intended to be a developmental stepping stone to the competitive spring leagues. There are no standings, and scores are not kept during games. The emphasis is on giving ballplayers the opportunity to play new or different positions, develop and hone their skills, learn rules changes for their upcoming level of play, make new friends, and have fun!

Coaches will select the teams, similar to the way teams are chosen for the spring season for AAA through Juniors.

Farm division only - team friend requests can be submitted. We will try our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee requests.

No friend requests will be considered for AAA through Juniors

Players should be registered by their league age and division they plan to play next spring (see Fall Ball ages/levels below)

Fall Ball is for players with at least one year of spring baseball experience at the Star League level up through the Juniors division.

Recognizing that players have soccer or other fall commitments, the fall schedule is limited to Sundays only. Fall Ball teams do not hold practices, but teams are free to use MVLL’s batting cages should they so choose.

Fall Ball also provides a great opportunity for first-time coaches to manage a team. It’s a low-stress way to “test the waters” to see if it’s something you’d like to do for the spring. Please indicate your willingness to coach/manage on the appropriate registration page.

Fall Ball starts Sunday September 8th and runs for eight to nine Sundays total (dependent on field availability and weather). There will be a mix of games as well as professionally led skills development sessions for the minors and AAA levels. Juniors, majors, and farm levels will be games only.

The early registration fee for Fall Ball is $170.00 per player (June 1 through July 31). Late registration fee is $205 per player (August 1 through August 23). A limited number of scholarships are available by request. This fee includes a t-shirt, hat, skills development sessions and games.

If your player has a MVLL Reversible Fall Ball jersey from a previous Fall, it still fits and is in good condition, please check the box in registration noting that you will reuse the jersey for a credit of $10 off your registration fee. Help the league lessen waste and our environmental impact.

The five Fall Ball levels are:

JUNIORS: For players trying out for or returning to Juniors in spring 2026

(13 and 14 year-olds)

MAJORS: For players trying out for or returning to Majors in spring 2026

(typically 5th-7th graders, league age 11 and 12)

MINORS: For players trying out for or returning to Minors in spring 2026 (typically 4th & 5th graders, league age 10)

AAA: For 3rd graders trying out for AAA in spring 2026 (league age 9)

FARM: For 2nd graders who have participated in Star League and will be entering the farm (machine pitch) division in Spring 2026
