Dear MVLL Families,
We know that this upcoming season will look and feel a little different but it is our goal to get kids on the field as quickly and safely as possible. A later start to tryout evaluations and the start of practices has given us time to monitor the current COVID-19 restrictions and make the necessary adjustments.
Just last week the State of California issued updated guidance as it pertains to youth sports. These guidelines can be found HERE and will go into effect on February 26th. As the State notes, the status of return-to-competition is subject to change at any time given the level of COVID-19 transmission in California. We are waiting to hear if Marin County plans to align with the CDPH’s updated youth sports guidelines; the county is supposed to review the updated State guidance with Dr. Willis this coming week. The updated guidance will be reflected in MVLL’s “Return to Play” manual which will be posted on our website (www.millvalleyll.org).

- Saturday, February 27
Tryouts for Majors
MVMS blacktop; assigned slots from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
Tryouts for Minors
MVMS blacktop; assigned slots from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Sunday, February 28
Tryouts for AAA
MVMS blacktop; assigned slots from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
- First week of March
Majors draft
Farm, Star, and Rookie teams will start practicing
- Second week of March
Minors and AAA drafts
Majors, Minors, and AAA will start practicing
- First Games are TBD
Marin County must be in the RED tier
